Saturday SEND ROOTS Group – Reconnecting through Outdoor Opportunities and Therapeutic Spaces.
- Ages 11 – 16: 15 August – 19 September
- Ages 16+: 26 September – 31 October
Please note – you will need to be able to attend ALL sessions in your age block to be eligible for this programme.

Who Can Attend?
Young People
This programme is for young people aged 11 – 16 years and 16+ with a diagnosed or suspected SEND need.
We can accommodate one sibling per booking if required.
Is This Group Suitable for my Young Person?
To take part, your young person should:
- Be able to follow instructions given by staff members.
- Be able to participate in a small group setting without their parent/carer present (parents/carers are welcome to remain on-site for the session).
- Have a physical ability within the 11 – 16 and 16+ age range.

Programme
Sessions will run on Saturdays from 9:00am – 11:00am:
Please note: Activities may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Parents and Carers
We will be reserving space in our cafe for parents/careers of young people attending the sessions to:
- Relax with a free hot drink (plus 10% off any extra food and drink).
- Connect with other SEND parents/carers
A member of the Daniel’s Ride CIC team will be available at every session to speak with for non-partial advice and support.
