For some of the people who visit us, meeting a horse who wants a cuddle, grooming a pony, or feeding a goat is the moment their shoulders drop and they finally feel at ease.
When you sponsor one of our animals, you’re helping us care for them, and in return, they help us care for the people who need it most. Your support enables our CIC to continue offering therapeutic, educational and wellbeing experiences that make a real difference, every single day.
With sponsorship starting at £25 for a virtual famer, to bespoke corporate packages, there is something for everyone.
It’s a gift that keeps on giving – for the animal you sponsor, and for the people whose lives they touch.
Sponsor our: English Goats, Shetland Ponies, Welsh Section D Ponies, Shire Horses, Berkshire Pigs, or Dorset Horn Sheep.
We’re home to several A-grade English goats, and your sponsorship helps care for the whole herd. Our most popular helper, though, is Buddy.
Buddy is a Wethered goat (that means he’s been castrated) and lives happily with the female goats and their kids, rather than with the boys, Geronimo and Goliath. He’s more like a dog than a goat, and he loves following people around, trying to nibble wellies, and soaking up attention.
Buddy is fantastic with the young people who visit the farm. He’s calm, friendly, and always up for a fuss, making him a firm favourite with everyone he meets.
We have four wonderful Shetland ponies on the farm: miniature Shetlands Dinky and Dolly, and standard Shetlands Doodle and Dancer.
They’re brilliant with visitors and school groups and are special therapy ponies for children with SEN. Their gentle nature helps regulate people and bring calm and balance to busy or overwhelming moments.
You’ll often find them enjoying woodland walks as part of our education work, being groomed and cuddled, or practising their agility exercises during wellbeing sessions.
Catrin and Dylan are our two registered Welsh Section D ponies, born and bred in Wales. They’re hardy and full of character.
Both were trained to be ridden, but it turns out they have very different ideas! Dylan prefers his human on the ground rather than on his back, while Catrin is happiest with a confident ride in the saddle.
We adore them for their strong personalities and expressive movement – and for teaching us that everyone has their own way of doing things.
We’re lucky to have two magnificent Shire horses: Flo and Bobby.
Flo is our gentle giant – calm, kind and always happy to meet new people. Bobby is a little more mischievous, with a playful streak and lots to learn, but he’s full of charm and keeps us smiling.
Your sponsorship helps keep Flo and Bobby healthy and comfortable with regular visits from the vet, dentist and farrier.
We have a lovely flock of Dorset Horn sheep, but one sheep in particular always stands out – One Eye.
As you might guess, she only has one eye. We don’t know how she lost it, as she came to us that way, but it certainly doesn’t slow her down. Dorset Horn sheep are strong, hardy animals, and their mothers are brilliant milk producers.
Your sponsorship helps care for the whole flock, and their future lambs too.
Our four Berkshire pigs are full of personality and always ready to make a noise when they think food might be on the way.
They’re experts at causing chaos, (similar to our goats!) often knocking down their enclosure walls (much to Farmer Will’s dismay). Their black coats help protect them from sunburn, and their sturdy build makes them tough and resilient.
Life is never quiet with the pigs around – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
